Redmi Band 2 with water-resistant design, 14 days battery backup launched

Xiaomi launched its Redmi K60 series in China on December 27. Along with the new smartphone series the company also unveiled its entry-level fitness tracker — Redmi Band 2 at the same event. The fitness tracker sports a 76% larger display as compared to its predecessor. The device comes with a water-resistant design and promises to offer up to 14 days of battery backup.
The Redmi Band 2 comes with a price tag of 159 Yuan (Rs 1,890). The smart band comes in Midnight Black and White colour options. The wearable is already up for sale in the region. The smartphone maker is also offering multiple colour straps to customise the Redmi Band 2. Xiaomi has not yet announced any details about the India launch of Redmi Band 2.

Redmi Band 2 specifications
The Redmi Band 2 comes with a 1.47-inch TFT LCD display with 320×120 pixel resolution. The curved display claims to offer 450 nits of peak brightness.
The fitness tracker offers more than 100 watch faces and supports Bluetooth version 5.1. The Redmi Band 2 offers more than 30 sports modes and comes equipped with a heart rate sensor and SpO2 monitor.
The company claims that the fitness tracker will work with both Android and iOS smartphones.
As mentioned above it sports a water-resistant design and can work as remote camera control, music playback and more.
The Redmi Band 2 is backed by a 210mAh battery which claims to last up to 14 days on a single charge.
Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition launched
Redmi has expanded its smartphone lineups with the addition of the Redmi Note Pro Speed Edition. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition features a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G processor. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition packs 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs the MIUI 14 operating system based on Android 13.
