The Redmi G 2021 features a 16.1-inch display offering a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel comes with TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission. The Intel model is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-11260H; meanwhile, Ryzen 7 5800 processor powers the AMD model. Both the models come with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics processor. Both the Intel and AMD models come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Redmi G 2021 gaming laptop brings full size-keyboard with three-level backlighting. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 6, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, DTS: X Ultra Sound, Xiao AI digital assistant, and Xiaomi game box.

The new Redmi G 2021 gaming laptop brings a new proprietary heat dissipation mechanism from Xiaomi known as Hurricane Heat Dissipation 3.0. The Hurricane Heat Dissipation 3.0 comes with dual 12V fans, four air outlets, and five all-copper heat pipes for ousting heat and keeping the laptop cool while extended usage. The Redmi G 2021 is backed up by a 55WHr battery. The Intel-powered Redmi G 2021 comes with a 180W power adapter, whereas the AMD model has a 230W power adapter for charging.

Redmi G 2021 price, availability

The Intel model of Redmi G 2021 is priced at CNY 5,699 (Rs 65,042). Meanwhile, the AMD variant comes at CNY 6,999 (Rs 79,870). Both the variants are available for reservations through Xiaomi Mall. The Intel variant will go on sale starting September 23rd, while the AMD model will be available to purchase from September 28th. There’s no word on whether the Redmi G 2021 laptop will be available outside China.
