Redmi K50 allegedly appears on TENAA listing, may launch soon
Xiaomi has unveiled its Xiaomi 12 series phones in China. The series consists of three phones — Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12X. Now, the company is gearing up to bring the Redmi K50 series. An alleged Redmi K50 series phone has appeared on TENAA listing.
Listed with model number 21121210C, the smartphone has received approval from the Chinese authority. Notably, the same model was previously seen in the database of the CMIIT certification site.
According to rumours, the Redmi K50 will be a gaming phone. It is expected to come with an OLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The handset may feature a punch-hole design to house the front camera. The phone is tipped to offer either 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is rumoured to come with MIUI 13 out-of-the box. Redmi K50 gaming phone is said to come powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. For camera duties, the handset is said to feature four sensor camera setup on the rear. It may offer a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera coupled with a 13MP ultrawide lens, an 8MP tele macro sensor, and a 2MP macro camera.
The phone’s high-end model, on the other hand, is rumoured to have a 108MP Samsung HM2 main camera instead of the 64MP lens.
While the company is yet to officially announce the launch of the smartphone, it is rumoured that the Redmi K50 series may be launched in China first. It may be introduced as Poco F4 Gt in global markets including the Indian market.
