Redmi K50 inches closer to launch as it receives TENAA certification

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is expected to unveil its K50 series in coming weeks. Leaks and rumours about these smartphones have already flooded the internet revealing amost every possible detail about the series.

However, ahead of the official unveiling, these smartphones have started receiving important certifications and recently, all the three models of the series have been spotted on TENAA listing website, according to Digital Chat Station report.

The report says that the three smartphones spotted on the TENAA listing carry model numbers 22021211RC, 22041211AC, and 22011211C respectively. Which coincides with the earlier leaked model numbers of the Redmi K50 series smartphones.

The tipster suggests that these smartphones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000, which Xiaomi has already confirmed, Snapdragon 870 and the unannounced Dimensity 8000 chipset.

The report does not specify which model number phone will be powered by exactly which chipset. But, looking at the previous leaks and reports, the top of the line model will be powered by Dimensity 9000 series, the phone that carries 22011211C will get the Qualcomm SoC.

Right now, Xiaomi hasn’t officially confirmed the launch date for the Redmi K50 series phones. However, it is expected that the smartphones will first arrive in China and later it will be launched globally.
