Redmi K50 Pro+ specifications (expected)
As for the rest of the specifications, the Redmi K50 Pro+ is confirmed to arrive with a 6.67-inch 2K Samsung AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to boot Android 12 based MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box and pack a 5000mAH battery with 120W fast charging support.
Moving to optics, the Redmi K50 Pro+ is said to have a triple-camera setup on the back, comprising of a 108MP main camera sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP tele-macro camera. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, and a USB Type-C port. It will be equipped with dual speakers, Dolby Atmos, and a Hi-Res audio certification.
The Redmi K50 and K50 Pro share similar hardware except for the chipset. The former is said to come with a Snapdragon 870 SoC, while the K50 Pro will feature a Dimensity 8100 SoC.
RedmiBook Pro 2022 launching on March 17th
Separately, Redmi has also confirmed it will be launching the RedmiBook Pro 2022 on the same stage on March 17th. “This time the RedmiBook Pro is positioned to be upgraded to challenge the peak performance of thin and light notebooks for your reckless love and to create a ruthless character with soaring combat power, whose performance is beyond imagination,” said the company in a statement. From this, we can speculate the laptop will have a slim form factor and will be light in weight as well.
The RedmiBook Pro 2022 was spotted on Geekbench 5 recently with the Intel Core i7-12650H CPU. It has 10 cores including six performance and four efficiency cores. It has managed to score 1800 on the single-core and 11872 on the multi-core test.
