Redmi Note 10 Pro, Pro Max camera issues after MIUI 13 update, Xiaomi India announces free repairs

Now, Xiaomi India has acknowledged the issue and has assured that it will offer comprehensive technical support and repairs for the affected users at the company-authorised service centres across India at no additional cost. This should come as a relief to the customers.

Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max customers across the country are reporting camera issues on their units post the MIUI 13 update. The company has acknowledged the issue and has offered free comprehensive technical support and repairs for the affected users. This isn’t the first time that Redmi Note 10 series hardware has affected the users. Back in April 2021, there were reports of Redmi Note 10 series display issues as well. However, Xiaomi brushed it off saying is reported by less than 0.001 percent of the Redmi Note 10 series users.

Redmi Note 10 Pro/ Note 10 Pro Max specifications

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, certification, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer, and punch-hole cutout. They are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC paired with Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Both phones pack a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Moving to optics, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max has a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-angle-wide sensor with 120-degree FoV, a 5MP tele-macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

While the standard Note 10 Pro gets a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 120-degree FoV, a 5MP tele-macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
