Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S is getting a new Cosmic Purple colour variant in India. This was confirmed by Redmi India’s official Twitter account when the company posted via its official Redmi India account. To recall, the Redmi Note 10S was launched in India in May, along with the Redmi Watch.

The handset was even spotted on the Amazon India app where it was. Confirmed that the Redmi Note 10S Cosmic Purple will launch tomorrow, August 18 starting at Rs 14,999.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S comes powered by a 2.05Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor with Arm Mail-G76 MC4 GPU, the Redmi Note 10S offers up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The Redmi Note 10S houses a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display of 2400x1080p resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and offers a Contrast ratio of 4,500,000:1, DCI-P3 colour gamut and a peak brightness of 1100 nits. The device comes with features like Reading mode 3.0 and Sunlight display 2.0.
Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the Redmi Note 10S offers a 33W fast charge support and packs a 33W fast charger inside the box.
For imaging duties, the Redmi Note 10S houses a quad rear camera setup on the back where the primary sensor is a 64MP lens (f/1.79 aperture). This is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture), a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4 aperture) and a 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture).
On the front, users get a 13MP single camera (f/2.45 aperture) in a punch-hole design.
At the time of the launch, Redmi Note 10S was made available in three colour options — Ocean Blue, Onyx Gray, Pebble White — the Redmi Note 10S is IP53-rated making it splash-proof. It offers dual speakers and comes with Hi-Res Audio certification.
