Redmi Note 11, Redmi Watch 2 monikers confirmed by Redmi GM Lu Weibing in Weibo post
Xiaomi is set to introduce the next generation of the Redmi Note series, dubbed Redmi Note 11, in China on October 28th. We have seen the upcoming Redmi branded smartphones doing rounds of the internet for quite some time now, revealing the design and key specifications. The upcoming series will include Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. The specifications could include a 120Hz display, MediaTek chipset, and up to 108MP camera. Now, Redmi GM Lu Weibing has confirmed the existence of the upcoming Redmi-branded smartphone in a Weibo post.
As seen in the image shared by tipster Mukul Sharma aka stufflistings, Lu Weibing’s comment on Redmi Note 11 confirms the upcoming smartphone’s moniker. Moreover, the posts reveal that the Redmi Note 11 Pro will come in 8GB+128GB configuration, among other variants. The image further confirms the existence of the Redmi Watch 2, which is expected to launch alongside the Redmi Note 11 series.

Earlier this month, a reliable Chinese tipster revealed the specifications of the upcoming Redmi smartphones. The vanilla Redmi Note 11 might bring a 120Hz LCD panel, MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W charging. It is expected to come with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The optics department will be handled by a 50MP primary sensor on the rear and a 13MP camera on the front for selfies.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 11 Pro will have a 120Hz OLED panel instead of an LCD panel. Further, it will come with a more capable MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The Pro model would also boast of a 5,000mAh battery, which will support a much faster 67W charging. The smartphone might feature a 108MP camera on the rear, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Redmi Note 11 Pro reportedly will also have X-axis linear vibration motor, JBL tuned stereo speakers, and NFC.
Redmi Note 11 Pro+, the series’ top model, is rumoured to come with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 1200 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro+ would come with the same rear camera setup as the Pro; on the front, it may have a 16MP camera for selfies. It is also tipped to feature a 5,000mAh battery just like the rest of the models but with support for ultra-fast 120W fast charging.

The Redmi Note 11 is expected to cost RMB 1,199 (~Rs 14,000) for the 6GB+128GB storage variant and RMB 1,599 (~Rs 18,600) for the 8GB+128GB variant. The Redmi Note 11 Pro would come with a higher price tag, with 6GB+128GB variant priced at RMB 1,599 (approx Rs 18,600), and 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB selling at RMB 1,799 (approx Rs 20,930) and RMB 1,999 (approx Rs 23,330). Meanwhile, the Pro+ will likely cost RMB 2,199 (approx Rs 25,700) for the base 8GB+128GB storage configuration and RMB 2,499 (approx Rs 29,350) for the 8GB+256GB variant.
