NEW DELHI: Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11 are now official in India. Xiaomi has expanded the Redmi Note 11 series with the launch of two new smartphones — Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11S in the country. Both the smartphones sport Full HD+ AMOLED display and run Android 11 operating system. The duo is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging support.
Price and availability
Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11 come in three variants which are priced under Rs 20,000. Redmi Note 11S comes in 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants priced at Rs 16,499, Rs 17,499 and 18,499 respectively. On the other hand, Redmi Note 11 comes in 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB versions priced at Rs 13,499, Rs 14,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively.
Customers can purchase the Redmi Note 11S in Horizon Blue, Polar White and Space Black colour options, while the Redmi Note 11 comes in Starburst White, Space Black and Horizon Blue colour variants. Both the smartphones will be available on Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores in the country. Customers will be able to purchase the Redmi Note 11 starting February 11, whereas the Redmi Note 11S will go on sale starting February 16.
As part of the launch offers, the Bank of Baroda debit and credit cardholders can avail a discount of Rs 1,000 on both smartphones.
Redmi Note 11S specifications
Redmi Note 11S sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 chipset coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM.
Redmi Note 11S comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can expand the storage up to 1TB by installing a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13.
The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. Redmi Note 11S features a quad-rear camera setup which consists of a 108MP main sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone comes with a splash-resistant design and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone charges up to 100% in an hour.

Redmi Note 11 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and runs the Android 11 operating system. The smartphone comes in three variants — 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.
The dual SIM smartphone features a 6.43-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution.
Redmi Note 11S comes with a quad rear camera setup which comprises a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone also offers a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
It comes with an IP53 rating which makes the smartphone splash-resistant. The budget smartphone houses a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
