Redmi Note 12 5G key specifications confirmed in online listing ahead of official launch – Times of India

Xiaomi has already confirmed that it will launch its Redmi Note 12 series of smartphones on January 5 in India. The Redmi Note 12 series is said to consist of three smartphones — Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12E. Now, the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series is teased on Amazon India website ahead of launch revealing some of the key details.

Amazon India has created a microsite for the new Redmi Note 12 series. The Amazon listing confirms that the upcoming Redmi Note 12 5G will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. The listing also suggests that the Redmi Note 12 5G will house an AMOLED display with a punch hole design. The display will offer 120Hz of refresh rate. The smartphone will also sport a triple rear camera with 48MP main sensor. The smartphone will also offer 33W fast charging support.

Redmi Note 12 5G is said to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is tipped to come in three variants — 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB.
The upcoming Redmi smartphone is expected to run Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13. The dual SIM Redmi Note 12 5G is said to come equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Redmi Note 12 5G is also expected to come with IP53 coating which will make the smartphone dust and splash-resistant. The smartphone is likely to house a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi K60 series of smartphones in China. The smartphone maker will launch the new smartphone series in the region on December 27. The Redmi K60 series will consist of three smartphones — Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K60E.
