Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to expand its product portfolio with the launch of the new Redmi Note 12 5G lineup. The latest series which was released in China last year will include three phones — Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G which the company claims to be “Supernote ”. The Chinese smartphone maker has scheduled a launch event to roll out the new range of smartphones. This event will be powered by Jio True 5G and will be India’s first exclusive 5G-enabled smartphone livestream launch event. Consumers can even experience cloud gaming in the “IndiaReady5G” zone at the launch venue. The Redmi Note 12 series will be the first smartphone series that is “Recommended by Jio True 5G” out of the box.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G series: Availability
For the past few years, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has been quite popular among Indians. These mid-range smartphones offer flagship features at a reasonable price. Redmi Note 12 series will succeed the Redmi Note 11 series that was launched last year in India.

The company has confirmed that the new smartphone models will be available for purchase on Xiaomi’s official website, Mi home, retail outlets and other e-tailer channels including — Amazon and Flipkart. As per the teaser shared by Xiaomi from its Twitter account, the Redmi Note 12 series smartphones are expected to be available in three different colour variants – Grey, Blue and Green.

Amazon India has a dedicated microsite which lists the vanilla version of the Redmi Note 12 5G smartphone. The Amazon listing has revealed that the Redmi Note 12 5G will sport an AMOLED display that will come with a punch-hole design and will support a 120Hz of refresh rate. The upcoming phone will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 mobile platform and will house a 48MP triple rear camera setup. Redmi Note 12 5G will also offer 33W fast charging.
