Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+ India launch tipped: specifications

Redmi Note 12 series India launch

According to tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the Redmi Note 12 series is coming soon to India. The tipster, however, did not specify as to when the series would launch. We can expect the launch to happen by December end or in January next year. The leak reveals that the Redmi Note 12 series will feature the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 12 Pro+ in India as well, so we can expect the brand to launch the Redmi Note 12 Pro alongside. As for the vanilla variant, if the brand’s past trends are anything to go by, we can expect the standard Redmi Note 12 to tag along. If, however, Redmi decided to go the Realme way, the Redmi Note 12 might have a separate launch.

Moving on, the tipster claims that the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will feature a 200MP main camera. For those unaware, the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, which has a 200MP camera, is tipped to launch in India as the Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge, and the Indian Redmi Note 12 series was said to feature different specifications. Now, courtesy of this new leak, we know that the device will retain the 200MP sensor in India as well.
