Redmi Note 12 Pro+ smartphone with 200MP camera to launch on January 5 in India

Xiaomi recently launched its flagship — Xiaomi 13 series in China. Now, the company is all set to launch its new Redmi series in India. Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ smartphones in India on January 5, 2023. This was the same smartphone which the company launched in China in October this year.
Redmi 12 Pro+ is the first Redmi series smartphone to sport a 200MP rear camera. The smartphone also comes with 120W fast charging support and it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset.

Redmi 12 Pro+ sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and it comes with Dolby Vision support.
The 5G smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 256GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi launches 12S Ultra with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset

Redmi 12 Pro+ comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13. The Redmi smartphone sports a triple rear camera which comprises a 200MP main sensor with f/1.65 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. The smartphone comes with super-linear stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi launched its latest flagship smartphones — Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones in China recently. The two new smartphones from Xiaomi come with a new design, upgraded camera setups, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
