Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will officially launch in India, renamed to Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge | Digit

The Chinese tech company recently introduced the 12 series in China, and now it is planning to launch the premium smartphone in India but with a different name. The 12 series includes four flagship phones, Remi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 13 Pro+ 5G, and the Note 12 Explorer Edition. In addition, the brand renamed the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G model the Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge. The HyperCharge series primary focus is to provide a super fast charging experience to its users.

The Redmi Note 12 series Indian variants will differ from the ones launched in the Chinese market. The information about the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G coming to India as the 12i HyperCharge was revealed by Kacper Skrzypek, an MIUI tester who found the device’s listing in the MIUI code. However, an official announcement is awaited by Xiaomi about whether the Note 12 Pro 5G will launch as the vanilla Xiaomi 12i HyperCharge in India. However, seeing the 11i series, the lineup will likely include two devices.
