redmi: Redmi 10A with 13MP primary camera and 5000mAh battery to launch in India today: Expected price and specifications – Times of India

Redmi is set to expand its budget smartphone lineup in India. Xiaomi’s sub-brand has confirmed the launch of the Redmi 10A smartphone in the country today (April 20) at 12 pm. The Redmi 10A smartphone was recently launched in China and now it has been listed on the Amazon India website which is now live. The upcoming smartphone is expected to be a toned-down version of the Redmi 10 which was also launched recently in India. The Redmi 10A handset is expected to feature — a MediaTek Helio G25 processor and 13MP primary camera among others.
Redmi 10A expected price and availability
Redmi has not revealed the official India pricing of Redmi 10A. However, the smartphone is already available in China and we can expect the smartphone to be available in the country at almost the same price. The Redmi 10A handset is available in three RAM and storage variants in China that include — 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and another 6GB RAM + 128GB storage options. The base model is priced at CNY 649 (roughly around Rs 7.750) in China.
However, rumours suggest that the top variant of the Redmi 10A smartphone will be launched at a starting price of Rs 9999 in India. Whereas, the base variant with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage is likely to be priced at around Rs 8,999. Moreover, these are only speculated prices and the final pricing will be confirmed only after the phone is launched.
Redmi 10A expected specifications
The Redmi 10A is expected to sport a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD s. The smartphone is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor backed with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The handset may also come with a MicroSD slot for storage expansion.
The upcoming device is supposed to house a 13MP camera along with an LED flash. The smartphone is also expected to carry a 5MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. The handset will pack a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. For connectivity and security, the phone sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and a micro USB port.
