The smartphone is likely to be priced at 96.99 Euros (nearly Rs. 8,570) for the European market. More details about the Redmi A2 phone are expected to surface in the coming days.
Redmi A2: Expected specs
The leaked renders have revealed that the smartphone’s display will have a water-drop notch for the front camera. Redmi A2 is also likely to ship with a dual rear camera setup. The sensors seem to be placed in a box-like module placed on the left side of the rear panel.
Redmi’s upcoming budget phone is likely to be powered by the newly-launched MediaTek chipset which is aimed towards entry-level gaming smartphones, the Helio G36 mobile platform. The remaining specs of the upcoming phone are rumoured to be similar to its predecessor. These specs include — a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, an 8MP dual-rear camera setup, a 5MP selfie shooter, a 5000mAh battery unit and more.
