Redmi Watch 2 Lite India launch scheduled for March 9th | 91mobiles.com

Redmi Watch 2 Lite India launch date revealed

Redmi Watch 2 Lite India launch has been scheduled for March 9th. The company took to Twitter to announce the launch date. The Watch 2 Lite will offer built-in GPS and is expected to carry an affordable price tag. It is expected to be available in India in three colour options – Ivory, Black, and Blue.

Redmi Watch 2 Lite specifications

Since the smartwatch has already been launched globally, its specifications are already known to us. We don’t expect Xiaomi to change anything with the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. It’ll be equipped with a 1.55-inch TFT display with 320 x 360 pixel resolution. The watch will support 100+ watch faces and 100+ workouts. It also comes with 17 professional sports modes.

In terms of sensors, the Watch 2 Lite gets a heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, in-built GPS, and is rated for 5AMP water resistance. It houses a 262mAh battery, which can offer up to 10 days of battery life with continuous GPS tracking and heart rate monitoring disabled. With continuous GPS enabled, the watch can last for up to 14 hours. The Watch 2 Lite is a cheaper variant of the Redmi Watch 2, which is obvious by the name, and therefore it loses out on some features such as an AMOLED display. Availability and pricing will be revealed during the launch on March 9th.
