Relame brings two affordable smartwatches to India with long-lasting batteries

  • Realme has launched two new smartwatches in India priced under ~$100.

The Realme Watch 2 Pro and Realme Watch 2 are now official in India. The two smartwatches were previously unveiled in Malaysia and offer tracking for up to 90 fitness activities. They also come with an under ~$100 price point to take on budget wearables from Amazfit and Xiaomi. Let’s dive into what the two Realme smartwatches have to offer.

At first glance, the Realme Watch 2 and Realme Watch 2 Pro look identical. They both feature a square frame, a single button on the right-hand side, and removable silicone straps.

The Pro variant features a larger 1.75-inch display with a 320 x 385 resolution compared to the standard version’s 1.4-inch 240 x 240 LCD panel.

The 390mAh battery of the Realme Watch 2 Pro is also slightly bigger than the 315mAh cell powering the vanilla Watch 2. Realme claims that the former can last up to 14 days on a single charge, while the latter can deliver 12 days of battery life.

Both smartwatches support health tracking features such as heart-rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and spot blood oxygen (SpO2) checks, and more. However, the Realme Watch 2 Pro one-ups its sibling with built-in GPS.

You also get IP68 water and dust resistance on the Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro.

Realme Watch 2 and Watch 2 Pro price and availability

The Realme Watch 2 Pro is priced at Rs 4,999 (~$67) in India. It will be available in Metallic Silver and Space Gray colorways starting July 26 on Flipkart. Meanwhile, the Realme Watch 2 will be available in classic black, priced at Rs 3,499 (~$47) on Flipkart starting July 26.
