Reliance has revealed the name of the operating system that will power the JioPhone Next — Pragati OS. The Pragati OS will be based on Android. “Pragati OS is a world class operating system that has been built specifically for India and is at the heart of JioPhone Next,” said the company in a statement. This is the first mobile device from Jio to offer Android OS, JioPhone runs on KaiOS.
