Reliance Jio launches 2GB data per day plan: Pricing and all the benefits – Times of India

Reliance Jio has introduced a new monthly recharge plan for its prepaid subscribers. The plan offers 2GB data per day and is priced at Rs 499. The all-new prepaid plan also offers other benefits like unlimited voice calling data and 100 SMS per day. Reliance Jio Rs 499 prepaid plan is available on both MyJio app and Jio.com website.

As mentioned above, Reliance Jio Rs 499 plan is a month-long plan with a validity of 28 days. Customers will get 56GB high-speed mobile data with a daily limit of 2GB. Once the daily 2GB data is exhausted, internet speed will be reduced to 64Kbps.
The plan also offers unlimited voice calling and comes with free 100 SMS daily. Additional benefits include access to Jio apps. New users will be able to avail Jio Prime subscription with the new plan. It also comes with a complimentary Disney+ Hotstar mobile annual subscription.
Similar plans offered by Airtel and Vodafone Idea
Reliance Jio’s Rs 499 plan will compete with Airtel’s Rs 359 plan that also has a validity of 28 days. Similar to Jio’s new plan, Airtel Rs 359 prepaid plan offers 2GB mobile data per day along with unlimited voice calls to Airtel and non-Airtel numbers. The plan also offers 100 SMS per day. Users also get 28-days free access to one Xstream channel on Airtel Xstream app at no extra cost and free Prime Video mobile edition for 28 days along with other benefits.
Vodafone Idea has a Rs 359 prepaid plan that comes with 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day for a period of 28 days. The plan offers access to Vi movies and TV along with weekend data rollover facility.
