Reliance Jio rolls out Rs 749 prepaid plan: Here’s how it compares to rival plan from Airtel

Reliance Jio has rolled out a new plan for its prepaid users. The telecom operator has introduced the new Rs 749 plan for its subscribers. The plan comes with three months of validity and it also offers unlimited calling benefits with data.
What the Rs 749 plan offers
As part of the Rs 749 plan, Reliance Jio offers unlimited local and national calling. Along with this, users will also get 2GB of daily data. Once the daily data limit is exhausted the internet speed will get reduced to 64 Kbps. The plan comes with the validity of 90 days and it will also offer 100 SMS per day. With this new plan, Reliance Jio users will also get free access to the Jio Suite apps, which include JioSecurity, JioTV, JioCinema and more.

Reliance Jio Rs 749 plan vs Airtel Rs 779 plan
Airtel also offers a 90 days plan of Rs 779. As part of the Rs 779 plan, Airtel offers 1.5GB data per day. Users will also get unlimited calling benefits and 100 SMS per day as part of the plan. As mentioned above, the plan is valid for the period of 90 days. Along with this, the Airtel subscribers will also get 3 months of Apollo Circle subscription and cashback of Rs 100 on FASTag.
Reliance Jio introduced 5G service in Kochi
Recently, Reliance Jio introduced its Jio True 5G service in Kochi. The Reliance Jio subscribers in Kochi and Guruvayur can avail of the Jio Welcome offer. As part of the Jio Welcome offer, subscribers can avail of unlimited data at up to 1 Gbps speed and at no additional costs.
