Reliance Jio users can now do recharge on WhatsApp – Times of India
Telecom operator Reliance Jio has launched a new service for its users that will allow them to recharge their number and more via WhatsApp.
The service has been introduced by the Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom company today to allow users of Reliance Jio, JioFiber and JioMart to get a control of their accounts via WhatsApp.
In order to start the chat, users will have to save the number 7000770007 to their phone books to later find it on WhatsApp as JioCare. Alternatively, users can chat with this number through their PC using this link https://api.whatsapp.com/send/?phone=917000770007. Using this link, Jio users won’t have the need to save it in their contact book.
Once the chat loads, Jio users have to send a message reading ‘Hi’ on the chat, which will load an auto generated message. In this message, Jio users will find support for SIM recharge, new Jio SIM or Port facility (MNP), Covid Vaccine and Info, Jio SIM recharge and support for Jio SIM, JioFiber, International roaming, JioMart.
Jio users can then simply go on selecting their desired options and perform whatever actions they choose to perform.
The company says for those looking to recharge their Jio number via WhatsApp will get all popular payment options such as e-wallets, UPU, credit card and debit card within the app.
Jio users will have the option to chat in English and Hindi languages with support for more Indian languages set to come soon.
