TL;DR

  • You can now reserve a Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro directly from Samsung.
  • Reservations are free and entitle you to a bevy of free stuff when you place your order.
  • You have until August 10 to make your reservation. After which, pre-orders will not get you the freebies.

Samsung has officially announced the date of the next Galaxy Unpacked: Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 9:00 AM ET. As in recent years, the event will be virtual. You’ll be able to watch the livestream on YouTube.

Honestly, though, we’ve had solid rumors about this date for a while. The bigger news is that, starting right now, you can reserve a Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, or a set of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Just like with past flagship launches, reservations are free and act as a way of letting Samsung know you intend to pre-order a device once it becomes available. There is no obligation. In other words, if you make a reservation and decide against it, you do not need to place a pre-order.

However, as in years past, you get a whole bunch of free stuff if you reserve a device, so it’s worth putting your name down.

Reserve a Galaxy Z Fold 4 or other product, get this

This year, Samsung is pushing you to pre-order bundles. The more items you get, the better your freebies will be. Here’s how it breaks down. First, you get instant discounts if you bundle items together:

  • A phone, watch, and buds bundle — $200 off order
  • Phone and watch bundle — $150 off order
  • Phone and buds bundle — $150 off order
  • Watch and buds bundle — $80 off order

If you don’t want a bundle, though, you can get free credit at Samsung.com with your reservation:

  • Phone reservation — $100 credit
  • Watch reservation — $50 credit
  • Buds reservation — $30 credit

Get your reservation in before August 10!
