Krafton has released the first major update for its latest battle royale game PUBG: New State. The update for the game is now rolling out to users on both Android and iOS operating systems.
The latest update includes several new features, game modes and bug fixes to the game. However, the most noticeable change is the addition of the new BR: Extreme Mode.
BR Extreme mode: Details
BR: Extreme mode is a new smaller battle royale mode to the game. The mode limits the maximum number of players to 64 instead of 100 in the regular battle royale mode. Also, each match time limit has also been reduced to 20 minutes from 30 minutes. The BR: Extreme mode will be available in Troi map. In this mode, the battleground is restricted to a smaller playable area (4×4) within the map, which will be chosen at random and change every match.
The match will start with a P1911 handgun, a smoke grenade, 300 drone credits and fully charged boost meters. When the match starts, two Care Packages will be dropped at random locations, allowing players to stock up on higher-end gear earlier in a match.
Rimac Nevera car: Details
The update also adds a new Rimac Nevera car in partnership with Bugatti Rimac. Players can now hop into the world’s fastest-accelerating production car – the Rimac Nevera – and test drive it throughout the Troi map. The game has also received a limited-time Rimac Crate which includes exclusive in-game items, five different colours of Nevera and more.
New Season and Survivor Pass: Season 1,
The new Season Pass now includes eight new tiers ranging from Bronze to Conqueror. As players progress through each tier, they will earn a variety of rewards including Chicken Medals and weapon skins. Players will be able to complete missions to earn diverse rewards and items whole exploring the lore of PUBG: NEW STATE.
In addition to all these changes, the update also includes a new P90 weapon, gun customisation options and bug fixes.
