Samsung has announced a limited-edition Galaxy Z Flip3 to celebrate the Beijing Winter Olympics which is expected to start on February 4. The special edition of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 is expected to arrive in a new Winter Dream White colour and might have gold accents on the frame and hinge, whereas the secondary display part is expected to come with a black finish, reports GSMArena.
This device will be available with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is listed on Samsung’s official e-shop in China and comes with a price tag of CNY 7,999 (roughly around Rs 93,600). This device is already available for pre-orders only in China and can be expected to ship from January 15.
There is no information on whether it will be offered for customers globally.
This device is also expected to feature the Beijing 2022 Olympics logo on the bottom half just beneath the Samsung logo. This new edition of Z Flip3 is also expected to come with a custom theme that includes Olympics inspired icons, wallpapers and cover screen clock styles.
Other specifications of this new device are almost identical to the regular foldable. It will feature a Snapdragon 888 chipset, 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED foldable panel, 1.9-inch external screen and pack 3,300mAh battery. It will also have a dual-camera setup in the rear with 12MP main and 12MP ultrawide lenses, while it will also sport a 10MP front camera on the foldable screen for selfies and video calls.
