Samsung announces Smart Upgrade program for TVs: Buy a TV for 70% of its price – Times of India

After announcing the Smart Upgrade program for S-series smartphones, Samsung has extended the program to TVs allowing customers to buy Samsung televisions for 70 per cent of their price while paying the rest after a year. Samsung has partnered with Flipkart to bring the Smart Upgrade program for its customers.
Under the Smart Upgrade program, customers can buy select Samsung TVs on Flipkart by paying 70 per cent of the listed price, and they can choose to pay 30 per cent after a year or exchange the TV for a new one. The company said, “This program has been designed to provide affordability and ease of ownership to consumers. This will help consumers in upgrading to larger screen and more premium Samsung TVs,” in a press statement.
“Smart Upgrade is a first-of-its-kind program for televisions that we have introduced in collaboration with Flipkart to offer unique affordability solutions to consumers. This program aligns with our vision to provide our consumers with an exciting opportunity to upgrade to the best in class technology that adds value to their lives and transforms their living spaces,” said Sandeep Singh Arora, Senior Director, Online Business Consumer Electronics, Samsung India.
Samsung TVs available under the Smart Upgrade offer
Customers can purchase Samsung Crystal 4K UHD TV for Rs 23,093 as an upfront payment and pay the remaining INR 9,897 after 12 months. The second model available under the offer is the Frame 2021 Series QLED Ultra HD (4K) Smart TV that can be purchased for Rs 38,493 as an upfront payment, while the Rs 16,497 has to be paid after a year.
