At CES 2023 Samsung announced this year’s follow-up to the highly-rated Samsung OLED S95B, creatively dubbing it the S95C. This generation, Quantum Dots power the 77-inch self-emitting OLED display for brighter, Pantone SkinTone Validated color accuracy. The company’s speedy Neural Quantum Processor 4K further optimizes details, colors, and brightness with AI restoration. Meanwhile, the display boasts a 144Hz refresh rate for gaming. The result is a more vivid and accurate display with greater lighting power efficiency. And it’s all packed under an 11mm frame. According to Samsung, it’s the most color-accurate and immersive display ever to fit into such a minimalist design.
The Samsung OLED S95C display is a powerful tool for gamers but can also be used for home security, tracking workout intensity, and more with an integrated camera, microphone, and illumination sensors. The TV also offers adjustable audio, eight Dolby Atmos speakers, and the ability to serve as a hub for SmartThings or Matter.
Samsung also launched its flagship 75-inch QN95C. The TV features four times the number of dimming blocks as the previous generation, greatly minimizing light bleed. The new model also improves brightness and grayscale control and is the first mini LED TV with Dolby Atmos surround sound. Finally, the display’s features and external connectivity are integrated into an even thinner 20mm thick frame, and the TV features a removable camera that can be used for video calls, gesture controls, and more.
Both the Samsung OLED s95C and Samsung QN95C were among many products launched so far at CES 2023, including Samsung’s staggering 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9. So far, we have yet to receive release dates or prices for these monitors.
