Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Samsung has started rolling out Android 12 updates to its Galaxy S20 series and Note 20 series smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, and S20 FE are getting One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 operating system. The roll out was first spotted by Sammobile.
As of now, the update is racing as an OTA update for users in Switzerland. But it is likely that the rollout will be expanded to more markets in the coming days. Samsung Galaxy S20 or Note 20-series users can manually check if the update is available on their device. They can head to the phone’s Settings > Software update menu and then tap on Download and install.
Samsung has already introduced the update for Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip3, S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra smartphones. The roll out was paused after several users reported the issue of facing bugs after installing the update. Samsung announced that it is working on fixing the bugs before resuming the update.
According to another report, Samsung has already started working on the One UI 4.1 update and it is expected to release early next year. Quoting a Samsung Members forum moderator, the report added that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will come preloaded with Android 12- based One UI 4.1 update. The new software version of the One UI is also expected to be released for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in February 2022.
