Samsung brings Android 12 to Galaxy A52 and Galaxy S10 Lite

After flagship phones, Samsung is rolling out Android 12 operating system update to its mid-range smartphones. The company has now reportedly introduced One UI 4 update to Galaxy A52 and Galaxy S10 Lite along with the Exynos variant of Galaxy S20 FE.

As reported by SamMobile, Galaxy A52 and Galaxy S20 FE users in Russia are receiving the OS update. The handsets are updated to the firmware versions A525FXXU4BUL8 and G780FXXS8DUL6, respectively. Similarly, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite users in Spain have reported receiving the update which brings firmware version G770FXS6FULA to the device.

Of the three smartphones receiving the update, Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is the oldest. The handset was launched in January 2020. The handset has a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Full HD+ resolution and offers 8GB RAM. The phone then was shipped with Android 10-based One UI 2.

Samsung Galaxy A52, on the other hand, is one of Samsung’s best mid-range devices from 2021. The handset comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset and features a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE went official in September 2020. It comes in both 4G and 5G versions. While the former packs Exynos 990 octa-core SoC, the 5G model is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 octa-core chipset. Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy S21 FE model at CES 2022. It is equipped with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The phone has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz in Game mode. The smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor. Galaxy S21 FE 5G will have three models- 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. In India, it is expected to come with an Exynos processor only.
