samsung camera: These Samsung phones to get Galaxy S22 camera features – Times of India

Samsung is going to add some of the camera features of the Galaxy S22 to a chosen few of its older smartphone models. These include the Galaxy S21, S20, Note20 and Z-series smartphones, as per a report by Tizenhelp, based on information from South Korean forums. The features are currently being rolled out in South Korea and are expected to be launched globally.
As per the report, the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Note20 series, Z Fold 2 and Z Fold3 will get the improved nighttime portraits feature, which allows the telephoto camera to be used in the Portrait mode for taking pictures at night.
The Galaxy S21 series, S21 FE, Z Flip 4G/5G, Z Fold2 and Z Fold3 smartphones will get the improved/added auto-framing feature. With the auto-framing feature, you can bring up to 10 people (standing up to 5m away) in a single frame. Though the feature was already available with the foldables, Samsung has improved upon it with the S21 models.
The Galaxy S20 series, S20 FE, Galaxy Note20 series, Galaxy S21 series + S21 FE, Z Flip 4G/5G, Z Flip3, Z Fold2 and Z Fold3 will receive improved effects for video calls. The feature can add mic controls and also replace the background during calls. It also works with third-party apps like Duo, Google Meet, WhatsApp, Zoom, Knox Meeting, Messenger (Facebook or Meta), Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans, Webex Meetings and KakaoTalk.
The feature is also going to be launched for the Galaxy S10 series, S10 Lite, Galaxy Note10 series and Note10 Lite in the first half of 2022.
Auto-framing effects for video calls will come to Galaxy S21 series, S21 FE, Z Flip 4G/5G, Z Fold2 and Z Fold3 devices while the improved camera quality for third-party apps feature comes to Samsung Galaxy S21 series, S21 FE, Z Flip3 and Z Fold3.
Galaxy Z Fold3 will also get the Expert RAW app, which will be made available on the Galaxy Store from this month. Plus, the main camera app’s Pro mode will be made available for the telephoto lens also.
