Samsung Galaxy A12 launched in India back in February as a successor to the Galaxy A11. Now, the company has introduced a slightly tweaked version of the same phone in India and this model comes with the Exynos 850 chipset instead of a MediaTek SoC. Interestingly, the same model launched in Russia earlier this week as Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho. The phone retails similar specifications as the original model. The Samsung Galaxy A12 sports a 6.5-inch display, Android 11 OS, a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging and a 48MP primary camera on the back.

Samsung Galaxy A12 price in India

Samsung Galaxy A12 price in India is Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and Rs 16,499 for the 6GB + 128GB version. It will be available in Black, Blue and White colour options. The phone is available to buy via the Samsung India website.

In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A12 with a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC launched in India at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model and Rs 14,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model.

Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos model sports a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity V PLS TFT display, meaning you get a waterdrop notch, which is where the selfie snapper is placed. The display has a pixel resolution of 720×1,600, 20:9 aspect ratio, and sizeable bezels. The phone is powered by the Exynos 850 SoC, instead of the MediaTek Helio P35 on the original Galaxy A12 model. It packs up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card up to 1TB. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
