Samsung Galaxy A12s price, specifications, and colour variants leaked
It seems that Samsung has yet another budget smartphone in store for us, called the Galaxy A12s. It seems to be the successor of the Galaxy A12 launched in December last year. Twitter leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has shed some light on key Samsung Galaxy A12s specifications, which seem to be marginally better than its predecessor. The leak also tacitly confirmed that Samsung could launch the Galaxy A12s soon, although its exact launch date still remains a mystery. Additionally, Samsung could launch it in global markets before India. Let’s take a look at what the Samsung Galaxy A12s has in store for us.
Samsung Galaxy A12s specifications
As stated above, the Samsung Galaxy A12s will pack an Exynos 850 chipset, a remarkable improvement over the Helio G35 SoC of the original Galaxy A12. That will be the only change, it seems, according to Ambhore. We’re looking at a 6.5-inch PLS IPS HD+ panel with a waterdrop-style notch that houses the phone’s 8MP camera. Memory and storage will be limited to 4GB and 128GB, respectively.
Moving on to the optics, the Galaxy A12s will get four camera sensors in total, including a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. It will run Android 11 out of the box and ship in three colour variants: Black, White, and Blue.
Samsung Galaxy A12s price
The base Galaxy A12s variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage will retail for €180 (approx Rs 15,500), while the one with 128GB of storage will cost €200 (approx Rs 17,500).
