Samsung has introduced two new budget smartphones in the Galaxy A series – the Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23. The latest A series smartphones are successors to last year’s Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A22. Both Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A14 are 4G offerings and share a 6.6-inch display, 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Notably, Samsung has also unveiled two new Galaxy M-series handsets with some similar specifications as well – Galaxy M33 5G and Galaxy M23 5G. Let us have a look at Samsung’s latest budget offerings.

Samsung Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23 Price 

There is no official word from Samsung on the pricing or availability of the two smartphones. But according to a report from Android Planet, the Galaxy A13 is currently listed as coming soon and available for pre-order on BelSimpl. Interested customers in the Netherlands can pre-order the 4GB+64GB storage variant of Galaxy A13 for €190 (around Rs 15,800), while the 4GB+128 GB is available for €210 (around Rs 17,500). The Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 come in four colour options – Black, Blue, White, and Peach.

Samsung Galaxy A13 features a 6.6-inch LCD with an FHD+ resolution and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. The display is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5. The waterdrop notch on the front houses an 8MP f/2.3 selfie camera. Samsung’s Exynos 850 chipset powers the Galaxy A13. The chipset under the hood comes paired with up to 6GB of RAM and a maximum of 128GB of internal memory. The Galaxy A13 runs OneUI 4.1 on top of Android 12. The smartphone boasts a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. 

Samsung Galaxy A13 comes with a quad rear camera setup. The setup consists of a 50 MP f/1.8 camera with PDA, an 5 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front and rear cameras can record videos at 1080P resolution.

The Galaxy A23 comes with a 6.6-inch TFT, a downgrade compared to the 6.4-inch AMOLED on the Galaxy A23. The 6.6-inch display on the A23 has a resolution of 1080×2048 pixels and runs at a standard refresh rate of 60Hz.

There is no word on which chipset is under the hood. But, the smartphone comes in multiple storage configurations with up to 8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The Galaxy A23 runs Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 out-of-the-box. The smartphone is backed up by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy A23 comes with a triple camera setup at the back led by a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor. Then there is a 5MP ultrawide camera and a pair of 2MP depth and macro snappers. The smartphone has an 8MP camera on the front housed inside the waterdrop notch for clicking selfies.
