Samsung Galaxy A14 4G launch imminent, spotted on Google Play Console
A report by MySmartPrice has revealed the official Google Play Console listing of the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G, which means that the launch is ready to happen in the next few days or weeks. It also gives us an extensive look into the specifications on offer.
In terms of processing, the Galaxy A14 5G comes with the octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, with two ARM Cortex A75 cores at 2GHz clock speed and six A55 cores at 1.8GHz, under the hood. The chipset is coupled with a Mali G52 GPU (950Mhz). This is different from the Samsung Exynos 1330 SoC on the 5G variant launched earlier.
Further, the 4G model’s listing suggests the smartphone will come with just 4GB of RAM, while there could be other unlisted variants with more. The phone is expected to sport a full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a pixel density of 450 DPI. On the other hand, the Galaxy A14 5G comes with up to 8GB of RAM and sports a 90Hz full-HD+ display.
The report also reveals some findings of the smartphone’s design, which is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup with flash. On the front, we can expect a dewdrop-style notch and “sizeable” bezels with a chin – all characteristics of mid-range smartphones of today.
Previously, 91mobiles exclusively reported the sightings of the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G on FCC and TUV certification websites. This was where we got details of other specifications such as a 4,900mAh (5,000mAh capacity) battery, 15W charging speed, and Android 13 OS. The dimensions of the smartphone were reported to be 167.7 X 78.8 X 11.8 mm.
