NEW DELHI: Samsung has launched its new Galaxy A-series smartphones. Samsung has launched the Galaxy A22s 5G smartphone in Russia. The smartphone is said to be the rebranded version of the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G which the company launched in India in July this year.
Samsung Galaxy A22s 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery and comes with an LCD display.
The company has not yet announced the price and availability of the smartphone. It comes in Mint, Gray and White colour options. The smartphone comes in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G specifications
Powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone packs 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and comes in two storage variants 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy A22 5G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI. The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera with a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to an 8MP selfie camera.
The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and houses a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
