Samsung Galaxy A23 5G to launch in India on January 18 – Times of India

Samsung is all set to expand its Galaxy A-series of smartphones. The company has started teasing the launch of its new 5G-enabled Galaxy A23 5G smartphone in India. Samsung has revealed on its official website that it will launch the Galaxy A23 5G on January 18 in the country.
Announcing the launch, the company posted a message on its website which reads, “Get the new Galaxy A and experience 5G the awesome way on 18th January 12 PM.” Along with this, the company has also revealed that the 5G smartphone will come in three colour options — Awesome Black, Awesome Burgundy and Awesome Green. The company has already launched the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G globally and it is expected to bring the same variant to India.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G specifications
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G comes with a 5.8-inch HD+ display with 720×1560 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.
The dual SIM smartphone houses a quad-rear camera setup. The rear camera houses a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens and two 2MP sensors. Front is home to a 5MP selfie camera. The smartphone comes with an IP68 rating which makes it dust and water-resistant.
The 5G-enabled Samsung smartphone houses a 4000mAh battery.
Recently, Samsung launched its budget smartphone — Galaxy A04 in India. Priced at Rs 9,299, the smartphone features the same 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. The smartphones are powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset clocked at up to 2.3GHz. The smartphone comes with up to 4GB physical RAM which can be expanded up to 8GB with the RAM Plus feature.
