Samsung Galaxy A24 leaked in Geekbench listing: All the details – Times of India

Samsung is soon expected to announce two new smartphones under its A-series lineup in India and other regions. Several leaks and rumours have surfaced about the upcoming A series smartphones. Adding to that, some details about the Galaxy A24 smartphone have surfaced online. The handset has been spotted on the Geekbench site which reveals the benchmark scores along with several other details about it.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A24 carries the model number SM-A245F. The handset scored 531 points in the single-core test and 1943 points in the multi-core test.
The listing does not reveal the exact details about the chipset that’s powering the Galaxy SM-A245F, but it is expected that the handset will be powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.
As per the Geekbench listing, the handset has an 8-core processor with 2 cores clocked at 2.20GHz and 6 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. Apart from that, the variant that has surfaced in the listing has 4GB RAM and runs Android 13 operating system. We assume that it will run OneUI 5 out of the box.
This is not the first time the Galaxy A24 has surfaced online. Talking about other features, the smartphone is speculated to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 13MP selfie camera at the front.
Talking about the launch, the smartphone is soon expected to launch in India. However, Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything officially as of now.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also expected to launch Galaxy S23 series smartphones — Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra on February 1 at Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. Smartphones are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and feature an updated design.
