It appears that Samsung is busy making its smartphones more affordable. The company recently slashed the price of Galaxy A53 and now another Galaxy A-series smartphone has witnessed a price drop. Samsung has slashed the price of its water-resistant smartphone — Galaxy A33 5G smartphone in India. The 5G-enabled smartphone comes in two variants and both the versions have received a price cut.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G new price
Samsung launched the Galaxy A33 5G smartphone in India in March this year. Samsung launched the smartphone in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB versions priced at Rs 28,499 and Rs 29,999. Both the versions have received a price cut of Rs 3,000. After the price drop, the customers can purchase the 6GB and 8GB variants at Rs 25,499 and Rs 26,999 respectively. The smartphone can be purchased in Awesome Blue, Awesome Black, Awesome Peach and Awesome White colour options.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G specifications
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is made scratch-resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI 4.1. The dual SIM smartphone sports a quad-rear camera setup. The rear camera comprises a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There’s also a 13MP front camera for selfies.
The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
