Samsung rolls out One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy A53 5G
The Korean smartphone maker, Samsung, has rolled out the One UI 5.0 based on the Android 13 software update to its Samsung Galaxy A53 5G owners in Europe. This pleasant surprise comes just ahead of the holiday season. The update is also expected to roll out in a phase-wise manner in other markets soon.
The stable Android 13 version of the One UI comes with the firmware version A536BXXU4BVJG and brings the new and updated One UI 5.0 to the device. However, it has been noticed that the device is still running on the October 2022 security patch.
Users can check for the software update by heading to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. While the rollout is currently restricted to Europe, other markets are expected to receive it very soon. The new One UI 5.0 skin brings overhauled UI design with the expanded Color Palette feature, efficient notifications design, and a simplified Settings menu. The stock apps on the OS have also been redone and the entire UI gets a fresher look.
