Samsung Galaxy A72 gets latest security update

Samsung is rolling out a new security update for the Galaxy A72 phone. The latest software update brings firmware version A725FXXU4BVC1 to the device. Along with fix for privacy and security vulnerabilities, the update also comes with the latest Android security patch for the month of March. According to a Sammobile report, it fixes more than 50 security vulnerabilities on Galaxy A72. The update also includes general bug fixes, device stability improvements, and better performance.
The update is currently rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy A72 users in Russia. It is likely to expand to more users globally in the coming weeks, including in India. Those interested can manually check the update availability by heading to the Settings app on their device.
Samsung Galaxy A72 was launched last year. The smartphone is a mid-range device that comes with a starting price of Rs 34,999. It is offered in two storage models- 128GB and 256GB paired with 8GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. To perform camera duties, the device features a quad-camera system on the back. It has a 64MP main camera paired with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, an 8MP telephoto sensor and a 5MP macro sensor.
For selfies, Samsung Galaxy A72 offers a 32MP camera at the front.
