Samsung Galaxy Book 2 360 renders leak ahead of MWC event

TL;DR

  • Renders apparently showing the Galaxy Book 2 360 have emerged online.
  • The device is expected to be announced at Samsung’s MWC event.

Samsung announced an MWC 2022 event last week, later confirming that it will launch next-generation Galaxy Book laptops on the day. You don’t have to wait long to see what Samsung has in store, as one of these laptops has just leaked.

Frequent leaker Steve ‘OnLeaks’ Hemmerstoffer and GizNext have posted renders showing the so-called Galaxy Book 2 360. The renders indeed show a laptop with a 360-degree convertible design, with the screen folding back so you can use it more like a tablet instead. It’s believed that the device is code-named “mars 2,”, with the original Galaxy Book 360 purportedly code-named “mars.”

In any event, the renders show a device with three USB-C ports (two on the left and one on the right), as well as a card reader and 3.5mm port on the right-hand side. So those expecting HDMI and USB-A ports might be disappointed.

It’s also believed that the Galaxy Book 2 360 will be equipped with a ~15-inch display. There’s no word on whether there’ll be a 13.3-inch device as well.

The original Galaxy Books also came with S Pen support and OLED screens, but GizNext notes the absence of an S Pen in these renders. Hopefully, this new device indeed offers stylus support for creative and productivity use cases.
