Samsung Galaxy F22 India launch timeline revealed
As per industry sources, Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy F22 mid-range smartphone in the second week of July. This would be the fourth Galaxy F-series device to be launched in India this year. There have been several reports suggesting that the upcoming Galaxy F22 is a rebranded Galaxy A22. Samsung is also said to be bringing both 4G and 5G variants of the smartphone to India. If the reports are true, then we already know what to expect from the Galaxy F22 in terms of design, and hardware.

Samsung Galaxy F22 India launch soon
While the exact Galaxy F22 launch date in India is still a mystery, we now know that Samsung plans on announcing the phone during the second week of July. 91Mobiles received this information via industry sources, and if it’s accurate, we should know the pricing and availability details of the Galaxy F22 in a couple of weeks. As we mentioned earlier, the upcoming F series phone is said to be a rebranded Galaxy A22, which was launched earlier this month in Europe.
Samsung unveiled two variants of the Galaxy A22, which is available in both 4G and 5G options. Therefore, it’s highly likely that we see 4G and 5G variants of the Galaxy F22 in India.
Samsung Galaxy F22 specifications
The 4G variant of the Galaxy F22 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. It’ll come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED HD+ display that’ll offer a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will offer up to 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with a 15W fast charging speed. It will have a quad rear camera setup with a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit, and dual 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro.
Coming to the Galaxy F22 5G variant, this phone will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ display and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. The device will get up to 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a larger 6,000mAh battery. It would also feature a quad-rear camera setup with a primary 48-megapixel sensor.
The 5G variant is expected to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, whereas the 4G model will get a side-mounted scanner. Both phones will offer Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi, and expandable storage.
