Samsung Galaxy F23 5G spotted online, to be powered by a Qualcomm processor

NEW DELHI: Samsung is said to be working on a new Galaxy F series smartphone. A new Samsung smartphone with model number SM-E236B was spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench.

Going by the model number, the smartphone is said to be called Galaxy F23 5G and it is said to be powered by a decent processor.

According to a report by Sammobile, Samsung Galaxy F23 5G is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to run Android 12 operating system. The smartphone scored 640 points in the single-core test and 1,820 in the multi-core test on Geekbench.

Samsung Galaxy F23 is said to feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to sport a 48MP main camera and a 13MP selfie shooter.

The 5G-enabled smartphone is expected to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with fast charging support.

Meanwhile, Samsung is all set to launch its next generation flagship smartphone series. The company has confirmed that it will launch its flagship Galaxy S22 series of smartphones next month. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones on February 9.

Samsung has also started taking pre-order for the three smartphones in the US. Customers in the US can pre-book the smartphone by going on the company’s official website. The company mentions that users who will pre-order the smartphone will get a credit of $50 (roughly Rs 7,000) which can be used to purchase other Samsung products from the company website.
