Samsung has launched the Galaxy M04 smartphone in India. This is an entry-level smartphone which comes as a successor to the Galaxy M03 and brings several new improvements and enhancements over its predecessor. The main highlight of the Galaxy M04 is 5000mAh battery, MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and RAM Plus feature that allows users to extend the RAM of the phone by up to 4GB.

Samsung has launched the smartphone in four colour options — Gold, Mint Green, White and Blue. The handset is available only in one 4GB + 128GB storage variant and is priced at Rs 8,499.
The handset will go on sale via the Amazon India website and the company’s official store starting December 16 at 12 pm.

Samsung Galaxy M04 features a 6.5-inch display HD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The display also supports 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, Samsung is offering an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset that comes with IMG PowerVR GPU paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone also supports the RAM Plus feature that allows users to extend the RAM by 4GB to get up to 8GB RAM. The storage can also be expanded using a microSD card.
In terms of camera, the smartphone features a 13MP primary shooter along with a 2MP secondary sensor at the back. The front has a 5MP sensor for taking selfies.
Connectivity options on Galaxy M04 include 4G, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port and GPS. The smartphone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
