Samsung Galaxy M04 launching in India on December 9: What to expect

Samsung is set to expand its budget smartphone portfolio with a new Galaxy M-series device in India. The South Korea-based tech giant has listed the new Samsung Galaxy M04 handset and created a separate page for it on Amazon (spotted by FoneArena) to announce its launch. The e-tailer giant listing has not only confirmed the date of launch and the price of the device but has also revealed the design and a few key specifications of the phone. The Amazon page also includes a “Notify me” button that users can click to set an alert for the smartphone’s launch.

Amazon’s listing confirms that the price will be below Rs 9,000. The poster shared by the company says Rs 8, XXX. The smartphone will launch at 12 noon on December 9 and will be available on Amazon.

Samsung Galaxy M04: Expected specs
The smartphone is rumoured to have a 6.5-inch HD+ display and will have a waterdrop notch to house the front camera. Samsung’s Galaxy M04 is also expected to come powered by an octa-core processor. The company has confirmed that Galaxy M04 will pack 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
As per the report, the Galaxy M04 will feature a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The handset is expected to run One UI Core 4.1 based on Android 12 out-of-the-box, but Samsung has promised two more years of OS upgrades for the device. Samsung’s Galaxy M04 is also likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery unit.
