Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition smartphone expected to launch in India soon – Times of India

NEW DELHI: It appears that consumer electronics giant Samsung is all set to launch a new Galaxy Prime series smartphone in India. Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition smartphone has received BIS certification recently. This hints that the company might soon launch the smartphone in the country.
Along with this BIS certification, the Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition also appeared on the list of Google Play Support devices. The smartphone is said to offer a similar set of specifications as the Samsung Galaxy M21 which the company launched last year.
This is the second Galaxy Prime Edition smartphone from Samsung. Last year the company launched Galaxy M31 Prime Edition smartphone in India. The company launched the smartphone in partnership with Amazon. The smartphone came with pre-installed Amazon apps and also offered three months of free Amazon Prime subscription to the customers.
It is expected that this time also the company might launch the smartphone in association with Amazon. It is expected that Samsung might launch the smartphone around the annual Amazon Prime Day sale in India.
Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition (expected specifications)
Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition is said to sport a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor paired with 6GB RAM.
The smartphone is said to pack 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. Samsung Galaxy M21 Prime Edition is expected to run Android 11 operating system.
The smartphone is said to house a triple rear main camera with a 48MP main sensor and house a 6,000 mAh battery.
