Samsung Galaxy M33 sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with 2,408×1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch. The handset is powered by the Exynos 1280 5nm processor paired with Mali-G68 GPU for graphics. It comes in two configurations – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB storage – and the storage is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. The device runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out of the box.

Moving to optics, the Samsung Galaxy M33 has quad-cameras on the back, comprising of a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.2 aperture. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Samsung Galaxy M33 is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 9.4 mm and weighs 215 grams. There is a 5000mAh battery capacity with 25W fast charging support on board.

The Galaxy M32 5G offers an HD+ display whereas the Galaxy M33 brings an FHD+ panel to the table and the refresh rate is also bumped up to 120Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset is replaced with Exynos 1280, which is claimed to bring performance improvements. The main camera sensor is a 50MP unit compared to the 48MP lens on the Galaxy M32 5G. The battery capacity remains unchanged at 5,000mAh capacity. The selfie camera is downgraded from a 13MP unit to an 8MP on the M33. Both phones come with 5G network support.
