Samsung Galaxy M51 receives July 2021 Android security update

Samsung Galaxy M51 was updated to Android 11 operating system earlier this year. The smartphone, as per a report by Sammobile, has started receiving the July security update. It brings software version M515FXXU3CUG1 to the device. The update is currently available for users in Russia and Ukraine, and is likely to be soon released in other countries as well.
The latest update comes with the July 2021 Android security patch to the phone. As per the Sammobile report, the update includes fixes for more than 20 security and privacy-related vulnerabilities. It is also reported to bring overall stability improvements to the Galaxy M51.
Samsung Galaxy M51 was launched in 2020 with Android 10 based Samsung One UI. The handset was upgraded to Android 11 operating system in March this year.

Samsung Galaxy M51 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor. It is equipped with a 6.7-inch Infinity O display. The screen comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The smartphone offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android operating system topped with the company’s own One UI. It packs 8GB RAM and has 128GB internal storage capacity. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The device comes with a 25W fast charger and also features reverse charging support. To perform camera duties, Samsung Galaxy M51 boasts of a quad-rear camera setup. The system consists of a 64MP main sensor with LED flash, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro sensor.
The smartphone houses a 32MP camera with f/2.2 aperture at the front for selfies.
