Samsung Galaxy M54 may feature Snapdragon 888 chipset, 90Hz display – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy M54 could be the next Galaxy M-series smartphone. The handset would be the successor to Samsung Galaxy M53 launched earlier this year in April and is expected to be a mid-range smartphone. As per a new leak, the device is tipped to be powered by the old flagship chipset, Snapdragon 888 SoC.
According to a report by The Pixel, the smartphone is said to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz of refresh rate. Rumours also suggest that the upcoming M-series smartphone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone.
For optics, the handset could house a triple rear camera setup that may include a 64 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP wide-sensor and a 5 MP macro sensor. The front camera module could feature a 32 MP sensor for selfies and video chats.

The Samsung Galaxy M54 could be backed by a 6000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
Price and other details of the phone are expected to be announced at the time of the launch event.
Samsung Galaxy M53: Specifications
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy M53 smartphone in the Indian market. The handset sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The smartphone comes in two RAM and storage variants– 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant and 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant.
Samsung Galaxy M53 features a rear quad camera setup of 108MP+8MP+2MP+2MP sensors and 32 MP front sensor for selfies and video chats. The handset is backed by a ‎5000mAh battery and runs Android 12 OS. Other features include– ‎auto data switching, dual SIM, vapour chamber cooling and voice focus.
