Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition appears on Google support page – Times of India
Samsung, in recent years, has been launching Fan Edition of its flagship phones. These FE models offer high-end specifications at a comparatively affordable price tag. The FE variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 has already been subject to multiple leaks. Now, a Google support page mentions Galaxy S21 FE, hinting at the device’s launch soon. It was listed by Android’s Depth API as seen on Google’s AR Core support website.
The listing, however, does not reveal any specs or features of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. Rumours say that the smartphone will come with an FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate. It may be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner and could offer a 32MP selfie camera at the front.
While Samsung is yet to officially acknowledge the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the handset is tipped to launch in October this year.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may come in two configurations
According to online reports, there will be two models of Galaxy S21 FE. One may come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, while another variant may run on Samsung’s own Exynos 2100 chipset.
The handset may offer a triple-lens camera at the back. It may come with a 12MP primary camera paired with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. It may run on the company’s own One UI based Android 11 operating system.
The upcoming phone is said to pack up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage capacity. The device could be backed by a 4500mAh battery with 25watt fast charging support. Rumours say that the phone will come in multiple colour options.
